At ICON, I specialize in Botox,® dermal fillers, and lifestyle medicine. I believe that taking care of your body is not only important, but necessary. With over 20 years in medicine, my personal interests have always centered around aesthetics and wellness. Helping others take care of themselves both inside and out is my passion. My background in art has sharpened my eye, while my experience in procedures has strengthened my skill.
Through extensive training as a direct extension of Dr. Matthew Yoak, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, I am able to provide my clients with the best care possible. Both Dr. Yoak and I have been educated in Lifestyle Medicine through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). By combining lifestyle medicine and aesthetics, we are able to help patients optimize their health and aesthetic both internally and externally. I have also earned aesthetic certifications through the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM) and Allergan Medical Institute (AMI). Matthew Yoak, MD FACS
Dr. Matthew Yoak is a board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with more than 25 years of surgical experience.
Following medical school and a residency in General Surgery at Marshall University, Dr. Yoak was chosen for a competitive Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been in practice in the Mid-Ohio Valley for the past 20 years.
As Medical Director of Icon Aesthetics, Dr. Yoak provides ongoing training to ensure excellence and the highest level of competency for our patients.
Icon Aesthetics is the only aesthetics practice in the Mid-Ohio Valley owned by a Plastic Surgeon and offers competitive pricing compared to other local medical spas and aesthetics/weight loss practices.
Dr. Yoak offers a wide range of cosmetic surgical procedures in conjunction with WVU Medicine-Camden Clark and provides free Plastic Surgery consultations at Icon Aesthetics on Friday afternoons.
